basic formatting

Prices start at $100 for ebooks and $150 for print. 

 

For both epub files and print, I charge $200. This includes the basic layout, without extra work to layout art within the book. If your book has a map or part one/part two pages, this is included in the basic price. Illustrated page spreads for chapters, chapter headers, ornamental breaks, wingdings, and any SMS texts or other text formatting are not included in basic formatting and instead can be found in my custom formatting pricing (below).

Basic formatting includes everything, just without special customizations. Basic ornamental breaks (3 dots, a line, a star, etc) are included. Basic headers are included. Author bio, copyright, acknowledgments, etc. are included. If you have a question about something I haven’t listed here, you can email me at thekaylianishireadsbooks@gmail.com.

I offer a 30-minute consultation to discuss customization preferences—because adding individual customizations takes extra time and a crucial eye for accuracy, all content with customizations not listed in my basic bracket start at $150 (epub files only). If you’d like both epub and print files, the price starts at $250.

I am able to create ornamental breaks and chapter headers for your project, but depending on complexity, I charge $5-$15 per image. Example: One ornamental break used throughout with minimal adjustments would cost $5. Full manipulation for one ornamental break would cost $15. Two different ornamental breaks with minimal adjustments would cost $10, and so on.

Note: you must provide all art you would like included in your project. If you have not commissioned art, and would like art made, I am unable to create new art. If you would like basic, royalty-free art, I can do that. Please specify when requesting for your project.

*I typically turn projects in less than a week. I will take the time to ensure spacing and wording and encoding is accurate – italics, etc. are correctly funneling over. If you have any corrections you would like made, I don’t have a limit. However, I may have other projects I am working on, so corrections may not be completed right away.

I will create beautiful files of your book for you, including epub(s) compatible with Amazon Kindle, Google, Kobo, Nook, Apple, and a file you can use for printing your book. Any trim size, full bleed or not. See below for specific details and examples.

Depending on your design expectations, prices may vary. I will always aim to offer workable prices and payment plans if needed.
